I have teamed up with Daniel Ozment, Assistant Conductor and Artistic Administrator of the Master Chorale of Washington, in forming an ensemble called Sonus Cura, which is Latin for Curing Sounds. The idea was to assemble a top-notch musical group to present concerts in the greater Washington D.C. region which would benefit charitable causes. The concert for Save Darfur on Sunday, July 29, 2007 is our first such event. It will feature some of the finest orchestral and vocal talents that D.C. has to offer in an exciting and varied program. There will be a suggested donation of $20 at the door, and all proceeds will go to Save Darfur.
