After working so diligently on #26 from Haydn’s Creation for the past 30 or so years, I finally get my chance to perform this work with the National Symphony Orchestra this week under Helmut Rilling.
I have played this oratorio twice before, once in Boston and once in San Francisco with freelance ensembles on each occasion. Playing it with my orchestra under such a great conductor should be thrilling.
