I am proud to once again join the ranks of Edwards Trombones artists. You can view my artist page here on the Edwards Instruments site:



In January, I was quite active with concerts and presentations with the NSO Low Brass Quartet during the NSO In Your Neighborhood series in the Brookland and NoMa (North of Massachusetts Ave.) neighborhoods. The NSO Low Brass Quartet for these events consisted of David Murray (NSO 2nd trombone), Peter Ellefson (Indiana University), Stephen Dumaine (NSO principal tuba) and me.

The quartet also received some press coverage in the Washington Post following our presentation at DC’s Central Union Mission. You can read that article, written by Clinton Yates here:

Horn and Trombone Festival 2015

On January 18 & 19, 2015, I was a guest artist at Wright State University for their annual
Horn and Trombone Festival, hosted by Dr. Gretchen McNamara and Jonas Thoms. Here are some of the highlights from that event:

-master class with Wright State University trombone studio
-judging solo competitions
-trombone choir warm-up session
-guest artist master class with festival participants
-shared solo recital with Roger Kaza, horn
